The Adelaide Aquatic Centre is open 7 days, only closed on Christmas Day and has free car parking facilities available. The centre opening hours are: Weekdays 6.00am – 9.00pm and Weekends & Public Holidays 7.00am – 7.00pm.
There is a main pool for casual use and lap lanes, a diving pool with a 1 metre platform/springboard and a leisure pool with splash pads and water play equipment. The leisure pool has accessible lifts installed to ensure safe access for all. There is also a spa, sauna and steam room (for adults only).
There are two lawned areas with free electric BBQ facilities available within the Centre making it easy for families and friends to have a BBQ or a picnic after a swim or workout.
Additional BBQ facilities are also available in the adjacent Park Lands.
Also, nearby is the Bush Magic Playground, which will particularly appeal to younger children who love the many interactive play elements. A Liberty Swing is one of the many features provided in the Playground.
Adelaide Aquatic Centre also offers a creche, fitness centre, group fitness classes, personal training, physiotherapy, swim school programs, memberships, kids parties and has a swim shop and café.

There is a ramp into the Main Pool, as well as two accessible lifts into our Leisure Pool. We have automatic doors for easy access to the pool area and accessible change facilities in our main foyer area.
Wet area wheelchairs are also available for use, please see lifeguards on duty when wanting to access these.
The accessible change rooms were updated within the last couple of years and there are two accessible change rooms. One is an Assisted Changing Facility which has hoist (customers need to provide own harness), adult change table and adjustable shower table.

Access to the Assisted Changing Facility is with swipe card which can be obtained from the reception desk, where you will need to sign in the book when obtaining the pass and then when returning it.

Our staff induction process now includes disability awareness training. This will ensure all staff working within the Centre assist in providing a postive experience for all of our customers.
Immersion Therapy operates from the Adelaide Aquatic Centre.
Recharge point for electric mobility devices and equipment available – The Centre will also become a recognised “Recharge Point” in Council’s partnership with Recharge Scheme Australia.
The Cafe have a menu for customers who are visually imparied produced in line with Royal Society for the Blind recommendations for font size and style.

The Aquatic Centre is an affiliate of the Companion Card program.
Companion Card is a card issued to people with a permanent disability who require attendant care support which allows a companion to enter free of charge to participating venues and activities.
There is accessible car parking onsite.
