Tiger Moth World was established in 1989 and operates from its own private airfield in Torquay – the start of the Great Ocean Road. Torquay Airport was developed specifically as a World War II style grass aerodrome for Tiger Moth World’s biplane adventure flights.

Climb aboard one of their biplanes for a flight of a lifetime. Be Biggles for a day in a World War II biplane or, if you dare, turn your life upside down with a choice of mild, wild or extreme adrenaline pumping aerobatics.

Whatever flight you choose, you will wing your way along the magical coast of the world famous Great Ocean Road and beyond.

If you prefer, take a spectacular scenic flight in a modern class aircraft for a bird’s eye view of the stunning coastline of the Great Ocean Road through to the 12 Apostles.

    Lighthouse Spectacular Adventure Flight - 40 minutes

    One of the most popular flights. You and your vintage biplane will wing your way along the dramatic coastline of the Great Ocean Road including the beaches and cliff tops of Torquay, Bells Beach, Pt Addis and Anglesea. Continue your adventure along the coast to the Aireys Inlet Lighthouse sitting on the cliff top, quite dramatic. Or cruise east along the rolling sand dunes past Point Lonsdale and Queenscliff lighthouses before your warbird heads back to Torquay. Don your full flying suit, leather jacket, helmet and goggles just like Biggles and get ready for an unforgettable adventure flight in your own private open cockpit biplane. From take off to landing, you will fly over spectacular beaches and coastline. Unforgettable. Tiger Moth World is located at Torquay Airport by the beach in Torquay.     Historic Great Ocean Road Adventure Flight

    Wing your way along the historic Great Ocean Road in your WWII vintage biplane. The Great Ocean Road was built by returned WWI serviceman. You will be in awe of the spectacular coastline. Sadly you will need to return to base after Lorne to get ready for the next sortie. You may prefer to command your warbird to fly east toward the awesome Rip Passage entrance to Port Phillip Bay. You will continue flying over the historic Point Nepean military base, before winging your way back home via Sorrento and Portsea. Don your flying suit, leather jacket, helmet and goggles just like Biggles and get ready for an unforgettable adventure. From take off to landing, you will fly over spectacular beaches and coastline.     12 Apostles Air Adventure - Torquay

    The 12 Apostles Air Adventure flight is a spectacular scenic flight in a modern class aircraft for a bird's eye view of the stunning coastline of the Great Ocean Road through to the 12 Apostles. Flights provide you with a bird's eye view of the rugged and spectacular coastline from the start of the Great Ocean Road in Torquay all the way through to the 12 Apostles, a coastline that you will never see by driving as the road leaves the coast as you wind your way inland through the Otway National Park. Flights depart from our private owned airfield - Torquay Airport. Recognized as one of the world's most scenic drives, the Great Ocean Road follows the stunning coastline of Victoria's south west.
