Set at the foot of Rawnsley Bluff, the comfortable self-contained holiday units provide the perfect base for exploring the Flinders Ranges and Outback South Australia.

Rawnsley Park has a range of accommodation including one to three bedroom holiday units available, caravan park accommodation, eco villas and homestead.

GOOD TO KNOW | TGS APPROVED

There is one Accessible Family Holiday Unit which has three bedrooms; two with queen beds and one room with twin beds. The unit includes an accessible bathroom with large roll in shower. Shower chair provided.

The Woolshed Restaurant is open for both lunch and dinner, and is accessed via a ramp entrance and accessible bathroom facilities are available onsite.

There’s a shop with basic supplies and fuel pumps available in the caravan park, a short drive or 15-minute walk away from the Holiday Units.

Be aware that roads around the park are a combination of compressed gravel and/or dirt combinations, driving is the most accessible way to get around.

The Eco-villas facilities may suit a person with reduced mobility because of ramp access and walk in shower, however are not wheelchair accessible. Contact the reception for details.

Make sure if you are on a self drive trip that your car is well maintained and keep an eye on your petrol levels as there aren’t many petrol stations once you are in the Flinders Ranges. There’s minimal phone and wifi coverage, which can be a good thing but just be mindful! AND, don’t expect many coffee stops once in the Flinders so get your fix before you head out for the day.

Helivista offer scenic tours from Rawnsley Park Station.

WHAT’S NOT ACCESSIBLE?

There is no suitable access to the swimming pool for wheelchair users. The eco villas and homestead aren’t equipped with accessible bathrooms and neither is the caravan park.
