Located on the picturesque Great Palm Island, 65 kilometres northwest of Townsville on the east coast of Queensland, the Palm Island Motel offers a range of double, twin and family rooms. All rooms are serviced daily and have amenities like free cable television, coffee making facilities, refrigerators, microwaves and irons/ironing boards. A large kitchen and dining room are available for self-catering.
Accessible by regular ferry services and scheduled flights, Palm Island is a tropical island with a resident community of about 5,000 people of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander descent. It is the main island of the Greater Palm Group and consists of small bays, sandy beaches and steep forested mountains rising to a peak of 548 metres.
