Byron Bay Beach Hostel

Byron Bay Beach Hostel is a completely new building within the heritage façade of the old Byron Shire Council Chambers. Integrating state of the art design into a space rich in Byron Bay’s cultural, social and historical heritage, Byron Bay Beach Hostel is located right in the centre of Byron Bay’s township, steps away from Byron Bay’s Main Beach. Accommodating up to 250 guests in en-suite queen rooms and multi-share dormitory configurations, the building has been designed with rooftop terraces, atriums and breezeways that make the most of the natural ventilation, sunlight and Byron Bay’s beautiful sub-tropical climate. Catering to couples, student groups and independent travellers, guests enjoy a sunny, friendly ambience, brand new facilities and the opportunity to explore Byron Bay right from the heart of town.

In designing the Byron Bay Beach Hostel we were determined to provide excellent facilities while making it affordable for travellers on a budget. We also wanted to create spaces where travellers from around the world could get together.

Our comfortable rooms, whether private or shared, will mean a good nights sleep with spring mattresses, privacy curtains on bunks. Our bathrooms are modern and clean to make your stay a real pleasure.
