The Ridgetop Retreats set the benchmark in design excellence for nature based holiday accommodation, taking full advantage of their beautiful location in the Stringybark Forest in Deep Creek Conservation Park and successfully blend sustainability with a high standard of comfort.
Southern Ocean Retreats is proud to be able to offer wheelchair friendly accommodation at one of the Ridgetop Retreats.
In addition to a portable ramp, suitable door widths, and an appropriate bathroom design that allows for wheelchair access that meets AS1428 standards we have also incorporated light switches at wheelchair friendly heights. A shower chair is available upon request, making this a holiday accommodation experience accessible to everyone.
The Retreats can accommodate up to 4 guests and are provided with all linen and continental breakfast.

The floor to ceiling windows that are the hallmark of the Ridgetop Retreats create a strong sense of being connected to nature. There is so much glass you will feel like you are out under the stars and in among the trees.
What’s not accessible?
The paths and trails around the property and into the conservation park are unsealed. A freewheel or all terrain wheelchair would be useful.
$245 per night for two people. Additional adult $35, additional child $25. Maximum of four people.

Visiting kangaroos, birds, bandicoots, a lush forest with wildflowers and even changing weather patterns provide a visual feast for you to enjoy from your panoramic view point.
There are some good 4WD tracks around Deep Creek Conservation Park to explore.
