Port Augusta is a significant stop-over point for both business and recreational travellers. The Crossroads Ecomotel is situated on Highway One, about 100m from the main junction where the Eyre Highway intersects with the Stuart Highway (just opposite the Shell Service Station as you enter Port Augusta coming from Perth or Darwin). It offers travellers affordable, comfortable modern accommodation developed with principles of environmental and social responsibility.
The owners background in International Development where social and environmental issues often take priority was the inspiration for building an environmentally and socially responsible motel. Ecomotel is built with natural products and improved building technologies to reduce our carbon footprint and ongoing energy use.
